Regarding Christmas, you can see a colorful celebration on the Eve at Bole Medhanealem church in Bole. You will witness thousands of people celebrating the holiday with songs lighting candles like Meskel celebration. The best part is during the early hours of the evening starting from around 6:30 pm. But you may need to get there an hour or two before, to get a good spot to see the celebrations.
